If you were on fire and Trump ran up to you with a big bucket of water to throw over you...

...would you let him?

reply

Most liberals would rather burn.

reply

No ... because it would likely be a big bucket of gasoline.

When the headline reads, "Trump Adds Gasoline to Fire of Burn Victim," is will be disregarded as "fake news".

This is a good analogy for the Global Warming situation.

That sounds about right. If Trump ever did throw a bucket of water on a burning person, that's how the media would report it.

reply

You mean the corporate media that gave him all of that free press during the election year?

The same guys that want to get rid of net neutrality?

They are shills for the 1%.

reply

"You mean the corporate media that gave him all of that free press during the election year?"

Yes, the same media that built him up in the primaries, because they thought he had no chance to win in the general. Once he got the nomination, they tore into him, just like they've continued to tear into him since the election.

Are you actually claiming the mainstream media is pro-Trump?

Seriously?

Hahahahahahaha!

reply

The corporate media handles Trump with kid gloves.

reply

This shows just how out of touch pro-Trumpers are. Trump is a walking headline, and headlines are all the corporate media cares about. Repubs think corporate media is leftist because of ideology, but really it's because repubs are so easy to make fun of. If corporate media dared trying to make fun of Obama for wanting to give healthcare to the uninsured, their viewers would've shit all over them.

However, during Occupy Wall Street, there was no corporate media defending the protesters. Every network was taking turns calling them all bums with no leadership who just wanted free stuff. Never was it mentioned the goal was to get money out of politics. Hmmm... why on earth would corporate media intentionally skip that? I wonder.

Seven years later and Bernie Sanders, whose politics were at the center of the Occupy movement, is the most popular politician with over double Trump's approval, yet where is the corporate media praising him? Nowhere. Oh, but they'll praise establishment flunkies Kamala Harris, Corey Booker and pro-Iraq War flunky Oprah Winfrey. Hmmm... I wonder why.

So as long as Trump keeps generating headlines for corporate stooges, they'll continue backing him behind the scenes.

"A burning man, who was minding his own business, was attacked with a bucket of water by the POTUS. For shame, Mr. Trump!" - the nightly news.

reply

Nailed it,lol.

reply

I couldn't exactly stop him, I don't think. But then I'd have to ask if I was still "fired". Oh the terribleness of puns.

reply

No, I wouldn't trust him at all. I wouldn't believe it was water in the bucket since I don't believe a word he says any more.

reply

tall, handsome man with incredible hair coming to save me?
you damn well better believe it
