Yeah, except that logic also has to work across the board. Which means that we should be giving designated parts of land back to the native american tribes that inhabited it before other native american tribes took it, right? Because surely you're not insinuating that all native Americans were on the same side prior to European colonization correct? There has been countless lives slaughtered from one tribe to the next for thousands of years before Europeans took over.
And that's not even including the lands across the Atlantic. How much land should Turkey give back to Greece? How much land should England give back to Scotland? How much land should Scandinavians give back to eachother? The vikings took land from the celts and slaughtered them in the thousands. How much debt do Scandinavians owe them?
Or how about the middle east which was once Jewish and Christian before Mohammed slaughtered his way across the middle east, northern Africa and Southern Europe during the Muslim conquests? Should those lands not go back to the Christians and Jews?
I see this exact same argument all the bloody time and it only ever ends with 'a hurr durr Europeans bad, everyone else good'.
How about this, if white people are expected to return to their homelands where their ancestors came from, then they get to bring with them everything they created while in their "borrowed lands". So the natives can kiss their ass goodbye to cellphones, airplanes, internet, canned food, cars, roads, sports, tv, computers, toilets, literally everything you can think of will have to go back 'where it belongs', and we can leave this continent in the dirt like we found it. Sound good?
