People like to bring up the fact that white voters that voted for Trump voted for Obama, Well actually

Also if they did vote Obama initially and changed all that means is, In other words, in 2008 they did the right thing by voting for somebody who promised to bring a greater sense of equality. And then when that rise in equality meant a decline in the opportunities they'd been handed for a lifetime, they realized maybe equality isn't so great after all. It happens every time there is an outpouring of empathy from White liberals. Doing the right thing is great until you realize it's gonna make you lose some stuff you never should've had in the first place.

Nobody "handed me opportunities". I studied hard in school, paid for college, worked at a number of jobs. But is there some reason why if you are white and hard working you need to "lose some stuff you never should've had in the first place."????

So what should I "lose"? What in your liberal estimation, don't I deserve? My house, my car, my clothes, my computer, my TV, ( I don't have a cell phone, can't afford the expense right now , but I know plenty of folks on welfare who have them... and yeah, they are WHITE). The stuff I have is paid for. I didn't rob any African Americans to get what I have.

A "rise in equality" under that phony charlatan Obama?? The only black people who saw an increase in wages were Barack and Michelle. His Administration did "wonders" for Chicago's murder rate of African Americans. Inner city schools still stink, the majority of black babies are born to single mothers and destined for a life of poverty. How is all that my (or any other white person's) fault? What do we need to lose to make life better for minorities?

People of all colors voted for Trump because they believed his hyperbolic estimation of EVERYTHING and bought into his overi-inflated promises which he has delivered about 5% on so far.

reply

Actually I voted for Trump largely because I did NOT want Hillary Clinton to be President.

Presidential candidates, along with other politicians, usually promise a lot. How else do they get votes from the gullible? I learned many years ago from my dad that most of them and their inflated promises are a lot of hot air. So when it came right down to it, I expected very little from Donald Trump. But I did not want a self serving sociopath who thought she was "owed" the position because she covered for her horndog husband, to get the job.

I simply loathe Hillary Clinton. I make no excuse for the fact that I think she is evil. I don't like anything she stands for.
I did not like her comment about getting the NRA shut down and "handguns banned for good." Well okay Hillary, if the Secret Service will only be armed with peashooters to protect your worthless fat butt.

I don't like what she said in her book "It Takes a Village." "I believe the primary role is to teach, train and raise children. Parents have a secondary role." Sorry but I aint a big fan of the Communist state. That's how you indoctrinate people. Take 'em from their parents and brainwash them starting in government funded preschool. That's the way to raise a nation of sheep who do your bidding.

I really didn't care who I had to vote for to keep that evil, lying manipulator out of the White House. Nothing Trump can do will be as horrible as what Hillary had plans to do.

I don't like Hillary either, but I have to laugh at your hyperbolic talking points about her taking your guns, and indoctrinating your children. Both of those claims have debunked numerous times.

reply

Too true. If Hillary ever did that shit, I'd stand with him/her on this. NO ONE is taking your guns away... ffst. I wouldn't stand for that but I have some common sense in common sense gun laws to pass. I also believe you don't need to own more than 10 guns. That Vegas shooter had 40+

Hillary claimed she disagreed with SCOTUS on their Heller decision, which ruled that residents of Washington, D.C., had the constitutional right to bear arms in their own home for self-defense. The Heller decision was 5-4, meaning that Hillary being able to place her selection into the court would flip that vote the other way. So we'd then have a Supreme Court that didn't agree that the Second Amendment meant we had a constitutional right to bear arms in our own home.
So it's not hyperbole at all. It's reality, and I have to laugh at your naiveté.
