I get it but I don't get it. The audience for him and that show is already hard left. He's not swaying anybody's opinion in the election over there.

Wow, this will be exciting I must say. I do miss watching him from the early days of Daily Show then right after Colbert Report.

I watched "The Problem: with John Stewart".

There were a few excellent episodes, but otherwise it was kind of boring. I am so sick of this old guy trying to act cute. Half the show was him mugging for the camera.

Geeze, are we really so stupid that we need cheap stupid jokes and funny faces to get us to concentrate on political and social issues?

And even worse was his fill-in bozo John Oliver, who just as Hamas attacked Israel started shouting for a cease fire.

Why can't America get some decent news programs? The mass media knows how badly they perform ... for at least 30 years ... so why don't they do something other than this recycled nonsense?

Baloney. Jon Stewart is awesome. In it's heyday, Day Show was the best news show on TV. I welcome Jon back.

Because they hide behind the "comedy" label to disguise the fact they really are propaganda shows for left wing media. They are no better than Fox News
