Yes, She's Beautiful, But...
It looks like she may be going "Hollywood" and buying in to the body image thing. She used to have some curves on her but now looks way too thin. I prefer the curves.

shareWell, there's thin and then there's TOO thin. What Hollywood and the fashion centers of the world consider normal, the sane world considers unhealthy, if not totally dangerous. I'm not suggesting Jurnee was FAT. She was NEVER fat, or even particularly voluptuous, but she did have a healthy-looking body with curves. The pictures I was seeing at the time of my initial post showed a young lady who was thinner than she was in the two films I had just seen her in. But it wasn't shocking, like seeing Lara Flynn Boyle or Calista Flockhart. My hope is that the subtle change that I noticed in Jurnee's appearance is only because she's maturing and becoming a woman, her body changing accordingly and in a natural way, rather than pressure from outside causing her to diet or otherwise keep her weight down in an unhealthy manner.
And I always thought Raven Symone looked lovely as well. It always seemed to me that she had a positive body image. If Raven has recently lost weight, I hope she did it for herself and in a healthy way. I wouldn't want her to fall into that Hollywood trap either.
Not that their bodies are any of my business, of course. I only mentioned it because Jurnee seems like a wonderful person and I only wish good things for her, so...you know. Same for Raven.
Nor is it my business to ask this, queencity86, but are you from Cincinnati?
For those of you who are curious as to why I'd ask, Cincinnati is known as the "Queen City", but I'm not sure why.
And before someone makes a crack, I'll go ahead and do it myself: I'm pretty sure Cincinnati being the "Queen City" has nothing to do with the presence of flamboyantly gay men.
