I know any people will hate on this but honestly, you're telling me you couldn't pretend to be a giant beast ape, or a degenerate hobbit, or anything if you're only motion captured?
We all know we could in a heartbeat. Only thing is,he knows famous people.
He's a great pretender.
But is not an actor.
I have no doubt whatsoever that he works hard when he does motion capture. I'm sure doing Gollum was quite brutally exhausting at times. There are many, many jobs that are physically demanding that require no particular talent. I happen to be of the opinion he's nothing special as an actor but if you are saying he is something special as an actor it has to be for a better reason than that he's hard-working because that is neither here nor there.
