does he deserve his BAFTA?
I like Andrew as moriarty, but I think in the second series and last episode of sherlock, Martin Freeman gave a bttr performance than him.
I dont know about the other nominees since I dont live in uk.

He absolutely does. I watched Sherlock cold, didn't know any of the actors except was sort of familiar with Martin Freeman from a film or two. And after seeing him as Moriarty, especially after The Reichenbach Fall, I remember thinking, I know they probably won't recognize him for this performance or give him any kind of award with gravitas but this guy deserves best supporting actor hands down. And then I found out he got a BAFTA and was like, you go, Brits! He's perfect. He plays psycho demented villain so well. I think Martin Freeman was also phenomenal in series 2, but I wouldn't say better as the performances were meant to be so different, but I get what you mean given that they were up for the same award. I just thought Andrew Scott did such a great job that I was happy he won.
