The were indeed (the bastards), but McCoy let Mirrimanee croak from what would seem to be treatable injuries in the 23rd century.

Yes, and Spock prevented Kirk from saving Edith Keeler’s life. She might have been the love of his life. They’re just jealous.

Great episode.

I read that Shatner brought his pet Doberman Pincher to the set and a odd thing happened.

The dog, on seeing that giant obelisk in the woods for the first time, kept on circling around it and wouldn't stop until Shatner took his pet away.
