She seems to have a lot of interracial roles on the screen.

I like Zoe Saldana. I think she's a pretty good actress. What I'm gonna say is not racist, but you're probably going to think it is because any time someone brings up race, a lot of people assume that person is racist. So go ahead and assume I just some racist trying to make some backhanded subtle (or not so subtle to those who see smoke where there isn't fire) bigoted remarks, but I'm telling you right now, I'm only racist against people who hurt animals and other people for fun.
I just want to know why Zoe seems to have the most interracial on-screen roles in movies. Did she tell her agent that she prefers this? Does she prefer white men in general? I'm just wondering because I don't see a lot of black women in movies with love interests who are not also noticeably black. Any interviews or quotes would be appreciated. It is a strict matter of curiosity.

With roles in movies/tv, directors 1. have a person or persons in mind 2. after having auditions see that a person can play a role easier 3. have to choose someone based on availability

I'm about to say something controversial...but if you close your eyes and listen to Zoe talk or Tika Sumpter...you don't assume they are "urban" (major motion pictures tend to shy away from urban.... They don't sound street. That's something that a white/black/latino can sound. Zoe has soft features as well. Once she played opposite Ashton Kutcher in Guess Who...directors may have gone...hmmmm, she can play those roles well. Also, those female roles she is playing (not Zahura) but the others were likely intended for white women. Obviously, the actresses desired when the scripts were written either couldn't play the role or Zoe impressed them OR they wrote the character for her...it happens. I think because she can look exotic...it attracts people to her and she's a pretty good actress AND she was a part of one of the biggest grossing films EVER. That doesn't hurt. lol
