shareSuccessful only because it's part of the MCU just like how all the other films in the franchise are successful. No one was talking about the success of "Welcome to Collinwood" and "You, Me and Dupree" which they also directed because, well, they weren't successful.
And as far as it being entertaining, it's debatable. Their movies are just CGI fests with a convoluted storyline that need to follow a specific formula to maintain the same feel as the other Marvel films.
Exactly. Its incredible how someone could give any credit to them for the MCU success. At Marvel directors dont decide anything,its all up to the studios and Kevin Feige. The directors are there just because a movie has to "officially" have a director,i guess.
sharePeople don't realize how all the movies look the same. There is no "specific" vision from a director. All 374 movies have to maintain the same look to make the feel seem consistent. You can't even have a dramatic film like Joker in this series because it would be way out of left field.
