His monologue in The Walking Dead's Tell It To The Frogs...

Just blew me aWAY. That's just one of the coolest bits of acting I've seen on TV in forever. Almost four minutes of it, wow! This show is so awesome. Michael Rooker is awesome.

You're damn right. The intensity and the strands of his sanity slowly slipping from him was unbearable!
I'm so angry that he isn't recognised more...why?! I can't stand it when anyone with so much talent gets overlooked.
I truly hope he makes a surprising return to The Walking Dead and perhaps become one of the leading cast members. I found his character absolutely despicable but bloody well prayed my heart out for him in that opening.

And yes, possibly one of the best darn acting I've seen thus far on television.

I don't think the writers will let him go. It'd be a stupid move.

He'll be coming back for sure. He escaped from the roof, took the truck on his own, and the arc between him and his brother, as well as his conflict with the rest of the group, is unresolved.

He'll be back.

He'll definitely be back in the 2nd season. We just don't know when...yet.

Mike has a funny story about his monologue. He was only scheduled for episode #2 and was packing to leave but people were telling him he couldn't leave because he was gonna be in the next episode. He thought it was a joke, cuz, yeah, his HAND was gonna be in the next episode.

"Originally, I was only in one episode, episode two. And Frank (Darabont) was there on set watching episode two, and he liked what he was seeing, so he went back to L.A. and wrote that whole teaser for me in episode three, the section before episode three begins. Each episode starts out with a little teaser, so he wrote this entire teaser, four minutes basically of Michael Rooker monologue on going through hell and back. You know, zombies are at the door, and I thinking I’m dying and praying. What an awesome piece of writing for any actor. I mean it was like “Wow,” I saw this and was just blown away, and it was very cool, so that’s it. I was in episode two and the teaser for episode three, and then of course they are looking for me and my hand, it was almost as good as me being in the episode."

it blew me away too. it's my favourite scene of the entire season actually. lol
i mean, i liked the rest, but this opening was sick! damn, i would so love to see him opposite Walton Goggins (Shane Vendrell in The Shield), it would be so amazing that i could die happy after that.

Lem! Lem, I'm sorry! But I had to, right?!
