They tried with Bourne and with Mission Impossible and he clearly can't carry a movie let alone a franchise.

Example: wind river.
Also: he rocked in Bourne.

Yup, I agree. I would love to see them continue that characters story. Although it is more of an ensemble. What about The Hurt Locker? In the right project he can certainly pull off leading man.

Disagree completely. He headlines the very successful Mayor of Kingstown, plus he has two Oscar nominations for best actor in a film for The Hurt Locker, and The Town. He has also been nominated and win several for best actor in other projects.

I would pay to see as the lead! Wind River is excellent.
