Jeremy Renner is not capable as a leading actor

On the contrary, I find Damon's films to be dull and boring. In "Supremacy" Karl Urban clearly stole the film from him. Not hard. And the "Greengrass Cam" is so darned distracting I could care less. I loved "The Bourne Legacy" because of both Jeremy Renner and the slickness of the film. You could actually see what was happening and also the story has so much historical relevance back to the Vietnam War and the enhancement drugs they put in the meals ready to eat the grunts had. The whole human genome mapping Marta (Rachel Weisz) talked about was so interesting and right up there with a lot of what I've been reading up on from science journals. As for charisma and presence, Renner has that hands down. I look at Damon now and think of him as a big baby. His dissing Tony Gilroy for being a better writer than Greengrass is nothing short of juvenile. Greengrass is neither a good scriptwriter nor director.

That's beside the point. An asshole can still be capable of a leading role in movies.
