She should END this monarchy nonsense

It's 2021. The middle age has long finished everywhere else. The French Revolution was more than 2 centuries ago. Enough with this nonsense already!

She has been queen for 50 million years. She has shown lots of impressive moments in her gig, but also many less impressive ones that only highlight the preposterous nature of the whole concept of king.

Wouldnt she REALLY make history by ending this bullshit nicely, while on top, with everyone loving such gesture, instead of waiting for a furious mob with pitchforks to remove her inept son from the "throne"?

The amount of money which could be raised to combat inequality in the UK and the opportunity to bring diversity to the crown make it almost impossible not to endorse this suggestion as the best way forward.

Ahaah, that is a funny idea.
But it still supports the "special one" concept, which I don't agree with, and neither does justice.
Still, a way better system than the one in place right now.

Well you'd only be the "special one" for one year then you'd be booted out on to the street to fend for yourself like everyone else.

But the concept of royalty and how humans evolved to accept a concept such as worshiping a fellow human being is interesting.

I'm not sure that playing with other people's lives should still be kept as a pasttime nowadays. It sounds very dystopian.

What about all the other European nations that still have monarchies, namely Spain, Sweden, Monaco, Greece, etc.? Do you think monarchies should be abolished on a global scale? Personally, they might seem like relics from another age to some, but I find them interesting.

But all these other relics will fall and disappear quicker than the Hindenburg if the english one ended.
This one is the tentpole, it's the most famous and recognized. It has to go the way of the dodo NOW.

You'd like Doctor Who's Inferno, then, a 1970s story with Jon Pertwee which features an alternate timeline in which a fascistic dictatorship rules the UK and one of the first things they did when coming to power was to execute the Royal Family, very much like the Russians did to the Romanovs.
