Could be.

What are some of your favourite memories the Prince?

What will his legacy be?

reply

In England there are many controversies right now because Harry and Meghan are doing a lot of interviews where they act like crybabies in their big mansion in Los Angeles while Phillip is dying.

He can't last forever. I saw a clip of him talking to some late school age children who had just come back from a trip to Papua New Guinea as part of the ' Prince Phillip Young People's Adventures Foundation ' or some such thing of which he was the patron. " So you managed not to get eaten then ? " he said to them. They thought it was funny and so did I.

reply

I've read a lot of things about him. Prince Phillip was noted (and often criticized) for some of his politically incorrect comments. But heck, he was funny and appeared to have a sense of humor. It probably wasn't easy to always take a backseat to the Queen.

reply

Time to go, Phil.

if he dies he dies

reply

Called it.

Weird, I decided to write this after having a very odd feeling that Sean Connery was going to pass when I woke up on the morning before it was announced he'd died. At that point I thought I'd make a post if I had a similar feeling in the future.

And what do you know, Prince Philip goes and fulfills my prophecy only days after I foresaw it. Who could have predicted this would have happened?

Anyway, in many ways it seems more like a curse this strange "gift" I appear to have. However I'd like it to do some good, so get in touch if you have any psychic requirements your require addressing...

reply

Any chance you could hold 'Paul McCartney' in any future thoughts (please?)

I have a list of others, but let's see how you get on with him, first?

reply

mmm, not sure about Sir Paul. I'm not sensing anything on the horizon for him.

I'm hoping I'm wrong but I don't have the best feeling about Dick Van Dyke. Personally I hope he goes on forever but I'm sensing his days may be numbered...

reply

Van Dyke share(d) a birthday with Christopher Plummer too (but I hope you're wrong, amigo?)

Personally, I think (age asside) the next 'biggie' will be some random younger individual

reply

Wow that's some gift you have there, calling out very old people with health issues that could die in the not to distant future!

reply

Yeah... bit like saying a fish that is jumping out of the water is going to go back into the water. When 99 year olds have heart surgery it isn't a long shot that they will die soon.

reply

Hey he was blessed to make it to 99. After years of health issues, his body gave out. It happens with the elderly. Some younger people too sometimes. His nickname was "The Iron Duke", but iron eventually rusts.

reply

Thanks. But as I was saying, it's more of a curse than any kind of "gift".

I just try to soldier on and come to terms with this terrible affliction. One day at a time...

reply

I think his main legacy will be the support he has given to the Queen. She is a strong woman anyway. But stronger surely for having him by her side all those years. Personally I admired him for his major effort in organizing the World Wildlife Fund.
