Thank GOD they are finally hiring American actors as leads.

It seemed like for the past ten years, most of the male lead roles would always go to a Brit/Aussie/Canadian/etc.

I have nothing against those countries or people from them (in fact, my father is British), but as an American I got kind of frustrated wondering "Where is the American talent? There's GOT to be some American actors that can carry these films."

So even though at times I bash Chris Pratt, I appreciate all he is doing for films in showing that American male actors can get big box office.

I love Chris but Brits are far more talented than the US actors,that's a fact.They're also cheaper.

cheaper yes, more talented no...thats really false. there is a ton of american actors who are good.

Actors are hired based on talent. A LOT of the Brits have classical training in theater. Most foreign actors do an American accent far far better than an American could ever do a British accent, for exampe (most don't even try).

The gap in talent is real.

So true,I like how Ethan Hawke admitted that British actors are the best.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing for a while. It seems like every film and tv show Hollywood makes these days always have British actors in them. I heard the main reason why they're hired is because they don't ask for as much money as US actors do. So they're cheaper to use, not because they're more talented.
