Martha Wilson
I knew of her for years as a consummate actress. But then I saw her as Martha Wilson in "Dennis The Menace" and she touched my heart.
There is a sequence in the film where Dennis is staying with the Wilsons while his parents have to go out of town on different business obligations.
She recites "Winkin, and Blinkin' and Nod" to Dennis to lull him to sleep and that had me in happy tears, it was so moving.
