Demi coming out as genderqueer/pansexual very much stole Page's thunder and spotlight. Page was thinking it was such a radical and cool thing to come out as trans but that stuff is a dying fad. The future is being genderqueer/pansexual. That is the true next step in human evolution. Transgenderism is regressive and only reinforces gender stereotypes that humanity has been moving away from for a while.
Like Page is not an even bigger attention whore? Lovato is actually on the right track because genderqueer/pansexual are the future. Page is just embracing a regressive fad that will in time be proven to be false and a mistake.
That is just a recent change though that trans applies to all who feel they are a different gender. Not that many years ago trans was just used for people who got the surgery.
Utter nonsense. The OP has the gall to attack trans people. "Nonbinary", the buzz word of the moment, amounts to zero, zip, zilch. These attention-seeking screwballs want to convince us they don't identify as either male or female. Uh-huh. Riiiight.
There are gay men and straight men; gay women and straight women; bisexuals (supposedly) and transgender folks. As for "pansexual", it it's another fun new word that means NOTHING.
What it means, is that bisexuals are attracted to men and women. Pansexuals are attracted to men, women, trans individuals, and nonbinary people. So how is that nothing?
Simple. If a straight man is attracted to both at-birth females and trans women, his orientation is still straight. Straight men are BORN that way, just like gay men. Many straight men may find a trans woman attractive, but they may prefer only at-birth women. They're still STRAIGHT, not pansexual. If a guy has sex with men and women, he is bisexual...even if he beds trans women.
Pansexualality is a behavior trait, NOT a true orientation. And neither is nonbinary (people are born men and women, inside and out. If they identify as being in the wrong body, they deserve the support to transition into their true gender, just as gay men, gay women and bisexuals need that same support).
It's really just semantics. But.. it is a way to acknowledge that not all bisexuals have an interest in trans people. I appreciate what you are saying, but I don't see pansexual as a behaviour and bisexual as an orientation.
Most people have standards. If you mean that pansexuals are not limited to just male and female then you would be correct. But anything is really broad, so no. We don't just fuck anything.
Fair enough. Maybe it's best to drop the whole designation BS anyway. I can imagine people doing anything to anyone in some circumstances. So why define anyone around one moment in time?
I think that until everyone would be willing to drop labels it might be best to allow people to label themselves. I mean just look at all the names given to trans people on these boards.
Yeah but don't take that seriously. I shitpost sometimes and at other times rigorously defend noble causes. It means absolutely nothing what brainfarts people throw in the ether. Just be of service when you can to others and you'll live a great life. (Giving is the only part of life that gives sense)
Fifty years from now, this absurd new collection of classifications will be as passe and laughable as how we now view the 1950s.
What's coming down the line? "Theys" and "thems" demanding to legalize group marriages. Count on it. (and count on it being spearheaded by some goofy pop star).
It is the very behavior of the goofballs you defend that are creating a new label - every other week.
Oh, and speaking of all things gender-dumb, Mr. Potato Head, the classic children's toy, is now nonbinary. Apparently, it's offensive that he was a boy potato.
Scotty, beam me up fast - while YOU'RE still a man!
