Failure as an actor

Actually, I thought she did a great job in LHOTL. I just came here to post that I have newfound respect for her.

Well said Beautiful Charlotte. She was a revelation in Last House On The Left. Devastating performance.

How could you possibly think her performance in LHOTL was a failure? She did an amazing job, and made me respect her for stepping out of the Disney/romantic comedy roles. I think her acting would easily surpass many many actresses with years, even decades more experience in front of the camera.
