Never in a million years could I understand why some fans think Sam was mad at Dean for saving his life. Then I think, no, deep down they get it but are in denial so they blame Sam.

When Sam was about to shut the gates of Hell, Dean yelled at him for believing the abusive BS Dean actually reinforced in the same episode. (“Sacrifice.”) If you call that saving someone and not pushing them to a suicidally depressed low, I suggest you find a dictionary.

When Dean was in Hell; Sam not only tried to replace Dean in Hell (“I Know What You Did Last Summer.”), he tried everything else he could think of, before and after. When none of that worked, he settled for the next best thing; revenge.

When Dean was in Purgatory; Sam accepted that Dean was dead. D-e-a-d. In Heaven, with a sparkly field of fireworks. Who was Sam to take Dean away from eternal peace, despite the fact that he was suffering without him?

By the way, there is no ‘etc.’ It was Purgatory and Hell, that’s it.

Sam’s not throwing a fit because Dean saved his life. He’s throwing a fit because Dean took his choice in the matter, took his agency, and allowed him to be possessed by an angel Sam had a) never met and b) knew nothing about. Dean could have given him the choice about Sam’s life, but he didn’t. It was Sam’s life to chose; possession or death? And Dean made that choice for him.

That’s, actually, abusive. Yet, Dean says he’d do it again. That’s Dean saying he has a right to Sam. This is Sam setting boundaries to protect himself from that. Dean does not own Sam, but Dean doesn’t know that. This isn’t even a new issue; it was Sam’s choice to his own soul, and Dean disagreed with it because soulless!Sam was a meenie-weenie to poor bby Dean.

Dean’s made zero apologetic moves. He’s not trying too, either. You’ve just told me that Sam doesn’t have a right to be angry that he was a) violated fundamentally, b) abandoned, c) never recieved an apology, d) told that his agency is worthless, and e) blamed for being violated by other people.

Just because Dean is having ~***emotions***~ doesn’t mean that Sam doesn’t have a right to be angry that his body was used like a for-rent home.

((FYI; the next person you call spoiled better not have a) jumped into the heart of Hell for the entire world, b) considered Dean’s feelings after Dean blatantly stated he was going to abandon him, c) dedicated his every breath to an apology for mistakes he’s paid for, d) risked his sanity just to stay with his brother, d) suffered aforementioned insanity because of his brother, e) apologized after Dean was the one who killed Amy, f) was literally ready to die for the SECOND time to save the world, g) would die for anybody else if given the chance. h) never recieves any support whatsoever (The last time Dean said something good about Sam to Sam? Yeah. I thought so.) j) offered his happiness out to others on a silver platter, etc. Spoiled is not how you describe the man who jumped into the Cage for all enternity with two angry archangels willing. Get a definition.))

Thank you!
