Why is it so hard to be objective about this stuff?

If he's guilty, I hope he goes to prison. Rape is one of the worst things you can do to a person. People who do it are fucking suck and frankly deserve life imo.

But not a damn thing has been proven yet. Believing a women just because she is a woman is insane. It's blatant bias. Mindless thinking akin to racism.

reply

Nothing has been proven, and he claims he is innocent. However his agency already dropped him, his new tequila brand deal is now in the toilet, and his Sex and the City co-stars have sold him up the river

reply

You're missing the real problem here. There are two seperate issues here, 1) Whatever crimes he has or has not committed, which will be dealt with through the courts, and 2) the fact that his image as Mr. Sexy has been blown up and his fan base has realized he's not the sexy guy they thought he was, he's just another creep.

Issue #2 is why his agency has dropped him and sex "SATC" co-stars have kicked him under the bus, and why he isn't going to be offered any more "hot daddy" roles.

"However his agency already dropped him, his new tequila brand deal is now in the toilet, and his Sex and the City co-stars have sold him up the river"

The "however" in your statement implies because all those groups jumped on the band wagon, the accusations must be true.

His life is ruined based on accusations which may not ever be proven. That could happen to you. Would you like it ?

reply

I know. What's happening is surreal and wrong.

reply

Leftists have a long history of "guilty till proven innocent" unless of course it can be used for their narrative, like Jucy Smollett. Then it's "innocent even after being proven guilty".

reply

Yes.

This is what happens when the freaks are in charge.

Enjoy it. Cuz it ain't gonna change.

reply

Speaking of a lack of objectivity...

reply

Hahahahaha!! I love your sense humor!

And 'guilty after proven innocent' as well. Remember Duke lacross? Kyle Rittenhouse?

reply

Yep. Biggest hypocrites on the planet.

reply

I agree. At least investigate the case. Women can lie.

reply

I've been warning about metoo accusations for years especially in showbiz. Some can be motivated for 15 minutes of fame, money or revenge. And it's not limited to only women. I defended George Takei, Stephen Collins, Woody Allen and Chris Hardwick in the past. 3/4 appear to be revenge. Takei and Hardwick's accusations were found to be baseless. Collin's was an estranged wife who wanted more money. And Mia is upset she was dumped for her daughter.

Re: Noth. He has a long history of physically assaulting women.

I had a huge problem with him a zillion years ago before he started 'Sex in the City" when numerous women, including girlfriend top model Beverly Johnson, accused him of physical assault. Noth's former MO was beating-up women, not raping them. Furthermore, I find it odd that all the accusers appear to be white when his dating history and wife are black women whom I always assumed were his preference - like DeNiro.

I'm on the fence with this one and I'm giving Noth the benefit of the doubt unless there's further proof. Maybe he PO'd the wrong person (revenge)?

"Re: Noth. He has a long history of physically assaulting women."

Show me this history.

Google is your friend, lazy.

reply

Speaking of lazy, there's making a claim and telling someone to look it up themselves when they ask you to back it up.

reply

It's common knowledge, lazy.

reply

That phrase doesn't mean what you think it does.

reply

That poster isa moron just spreading stuff he/she heard.

reply

I am calling bullshit on everything you heard "about a zillion years ago" on Chris Noth. Bugger off. You are of zero value in our war against the neo-McCarthy witchhunt of the #Metoo "movement".

reply

Amen

reply

Because there's nothing to gain from making up something as horrendous as this.
I mean, you can say it's a disgruntled ex. But this many? Can't be a conspiracy.

reply

"Because there's nothing to gain from making up something as horrendous as this. "

How are you this naive?

reply

If they are anonymous then what?

reply

They're not. Zoe Jones-Lister, Beverly Johnson, Lisa Gentile...

reply

how would you defend yourself if all the people you had sex with accused you of the same thing?

reply

Why would many women conspire against a men is the real question.

reply

I dont know, its a new trending phenomenon. As long as there is no consequences for a false accusation then it will continue on for political or monetary reasons. Sometimes it just seems like its for spite.

What I find most interesting is that why are some women believed but others are not.

Joe Brandon was accused of sexual assault/misconduct by 9 women and nothing happened.

Andrew Cuomo was accused by 11, he had to finally resign in disgrace.

Noth has been accused by 3 I think and his life and career is pretty much ruined.

Clinton banged an intern and nothing happened.

Al Franken was forced to resign.

Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh were both publicly humiliated in a televised trial.

Clarence Thomas' speech.

reply

I'd sue the fuck out of them. M
No one will ever get away with accusing me of something like that.

reply

unfortunately these days, an accusation is the same thing as being guilty....

reply

In it”s consequences, yes. As others have said, Noth should get his day in court and, if found guilty, pay for his crime(s). But, if found innocent or if no charges are ever filed, he should be able to successfully sue his employer(s) for wrongful dismissal and others for defamation. There needs to be consequences for prejudging the accused.

reply

agreed, I am all for a fair trial. but ruining someone's career and reputation shouldn't be as simple as an accusation.

reply

An accusation that hits the press has always meant a scandal, not as big a scandal as a conviction, but still a scandal. Careers have always been threatened or ruined by scandals ever since a gutter press existed, and before that, careers were threatened or ruined by gossip and rumor.

I actually wonder if Noth has a legal leg to stand on. Actors used to have something called a "morals clause" written into their contracts, and it was an agreement that if the actor was ever the subject of a scandal, then their movie or TV studio would drop them and their career would be in the toilet. So now I wonder if there's a modern equivalent, if there's something in the contracts of actors that take long-running roles, where their is a contractual agreement to screw the actor's career in case of a scandal.
