πŸŽ‚ Birthday, age 61 in 2024 on April 4

I've seen his show, reminded me of the old Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.

He has a giant forehead though.

reply

Looks like a Hobbit. No idea who he is.
61 ain't old for a Hobbit so good for him I suppose.

His TV show is on late Friday or Saturday nights, I think on BBC America. The guests continue sitting next to the host, after their own segment is over, just like on Johnny Carson. I think they do skits, but there is a general humor to the show. He actually had American actors and actresses as guests, promoting their new films being released. I haven't seen it on over a year, though.

reply

Yeah, I'm sure the guy is popular over there in other places, he just sort of looks like Dildo Baggins to me:)

There are heaps of clips from his show available on YouTube, you should check them out man, he has a very funny relaxed interview style and he’s really smart and witty.

reply

Out of all the talk shows on these days I like his best. He will ask questions and lead the conversation a little bit but he generally doesn't interrupt and lets the guest banter with each other. Plus other than a quick monologue at the beginning it's not political.

reply

Huh. I don't know the guy. I don't watch any network shows at all.
Anyway, this Norton guy is very goofy looking and I avoid that grating political stuff...But happy Birthday to that little Hobbit person.

That's why he's good to watch. He usually shows a silly picture of someone (Sometimes the royal family, sometimes an actor or a politician), and cracks one joke about it, and moves on, or he says nothing at all. It's usually less than a minute.

Happy birthday Norton you legend
