Can someone get that large in a natural way?

First of all, I know absolutely nothing about bodybuilding etc, so if I'm way off, feel free to correct me.

Is it possible to get that muscular in a natural way? Is Joe really that big or is it photoshopped? Am just curious.

I believe so, my spouse has a large frame. Big head, wide shoulders, long arms/legs,
He is long in appearance. If he lifted weights, he'd achieve the same results.
It begins with the frame, otherwise they look kinda freakish carrying all that muscle on a small frame.
