Revolting man - used the military against WW1 vets.

A career of insubordination and during the 30's he used military force against genuine WW1 vets with their families who protested about the bonuses they were promised but never received.

He was sympathetic to the American nazis (many noted industrial organisations and prominent individuals) that tried to overthrow Roosevelt in 1933.

Thank God he didn't get far in the 1948 Presidential election.
