sharemovies aren't rated by the rarely listened to commentary tracks though, since they aren't part of the original movie itself. I enjoy them though.

actually yes bonus features ARE rated, which is why they normally release an unrated version.. they must've missed this word on the commentary, normally they'll bleep them out on a PG movie

In America, no, bonus features are not rated. They specifically put text on the back covers of DVDs to point this out. That said, most filmmakers and actors have a bit of an unspoken realization that one should avoid being R-rated on the commentary for a PG movie.
