Just curious, before watching House had you ever seen him in anything before? I know that I, as an Englishman knew who he was before House, but I'm just curious how his reputation was before House? I remember him mainly from A Bit Of Fry and Laurie, and Blackadder.

I saw some of Jeeves and Wooster as a kid. A Bit of Fry and Laurie as well (but neither held my attention for too long since I was a go and play outside type of kid). Honestly, I can't remember how exactly I got to watching those things, but I definitely recognized him in 101 Dalmatians when I first saw it. I've since gone back and watched Blackadder II - IV, fell in love with A Bit of Fry and Laurie, and watched all of Jeeves and Wooster. As for Laurie's projects without Fry, House is the only one I've liked and even then I kind of fell out of love with House a couple years back when it started to seem like every medical show when beforehand it was different and better than every other medical show. I've been considering watching Fortysomething, but the episode descriptions kind of put me off, though it'd be a chance to see Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Laurie in something and I enjoy both of them as actors.
