Ripped Off by Golden Globes

... and SAG.

She stole the movie, imo. Incredible performance. How does she not get best supporting actress?

She was the heart and soul of this film ... and it was a great movie.

Couldn't agree with you more. She was totally robbed.

Hopefully the Academy Awards will come through and give her a nomination.

Ordinarily, I would agree with you. She was fantastic in 'Inglourious Basterds'. However, if you must place blame, blame the studio. They campaigned for her to be recognized in the 'Best Actress in a Leading Role' award, as opposed to the more appropriate 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' category. I say "more appropriate" in regards to her screen time, her character's role in the film's final conclusion (meaty, no doubt, but definitely not a solo job), and the presence of Diane Kruger's character. The lead actress competition this year was too strong. It's annoying, though, because if the studio had marketed her properly, I believe she would've had those nominations in the bag.

Noah: Tupac.

Yeah, they should have campaigned her supporting role. I'm sure she would've gotten lots of acting nominations. Some studio in the past have even campaigned for some actors in a movie which is more leading than supporting, for the supporting role just to increase their chances of winning.

I'm still hoping she gets an oscar nomination for supporting.

New Line Cinema marketed Ian McKellan for Best actor in a Leading role for Fellowship of the Ring and he was still nominated for supporting...

Agreed agreed.

I totally agree! When I think of Inglourious Basterds I think of her, she stole the whole film and was better than Diane Kruger imo, and yet no nomination :( she was robbed!
