His character Luther

I was wondering something. I just got done watching the Warriors then ended up watching 48hrs a few days later and realized that there were like 3 or 4 actors that were in both films, but noticed that David's character was Luther in both movies. Does anyone know if that was intentional or they just chose the name Luther for 48hrs off of the top of their head.

It probably has something to do with the fact that Walter Hill directed both movies. He probably enjoyed working with those guys on The Warriors and thought about bringing them back for 48hrs. David Patrick Kelly is an awesome actor. Excellent in both The Warriors and The Crow, whilst his performance in Commando was one of the high points of that movie.

His name is JAMES Remar.

But it was pretty cool, I guess Walter Hill just likes those guys.

if you also notice the parking lot attendant in 48 hrs...was "rembrant" in the warriors ..so walter hill got 3 guys in the same film again.
