I recently saw him in an episode of Cimarron Strip, which also featured Spock's father and I looked him up because he looked familiar (he did quite a bit of tv and movies). I thought he was overacting a bit too much, though.

Really sorry to see this. I wasn't overly familiar with all of his work, but just went through his credits and, man, did he work constantly. RIP. 😥
