However, let's just clear up a few *facts* here:
Eddie Izzard (apart from being woefully unfunny) is a man.
He will *always* be a Man and no amount of surgery or medication (or made up 'touchy-feely' speech-laws) will alter this fact.
Should he wish to *pretend* to be a woman.....fine.
Should you wish to *pretend* he's a woman....also fine.
However, that's all it is.....'pretending'
His right to pretend....Your right to pretend....My right *NOT* to pretend.

Nowadays I think in the industry and society at large, striving to be equal and PC the term ‘actress’ - indeed any gender marking in especially professional / job terms - is deemed to be sexist and old fashioned.
