im sure we can think of things that would make him a modern day democrat.
i think people usually want to make things easy. but history tends to be more complicated.

off the top of my head, hitler:
came from poor origins
an immigrant (born in Austria)
artist who aspired to go to a liberal arts school
vegetarian
animal lover (Reich Animal Protection Act 1933)
environmentalist (Reich Nature Conservation Act 1935)
supported nationalized healthcare (inherited)
anti-smoking
anti-Christianity
evolutionist
birth control (ok, extreme version haha)

he was also anti-alcohol. temperance movement was mainly right wing back then... not sure if this has a political side now
