If Straight, How Can...
If an actor is straight in real life, how can he possibly have what it takes to kiss another guy even for a film? (Likewise between two actresses).

shareYou've never seen a straight guy kissing another guy?
Even if that never happened in a real life (though it does, except maybe in the US), acting often involves doing things you never do in real life. How many actors kill other actors in the movies? Or are rude, insult someone, etc. Most of them would never do those things in real life.

If an actor isn't sad in real life, how can he possibly have what it takes to cry even for a film?
Narcissism - claiming that you were created in the image of an all knowing all powerful god.
The OP said nothing about the lips, or for that matter where this kiss was supposed to happen.
I am from Europe, too. And as a kid I watched the Communist leaders of my country kiss the Russian leaders on both cheeks way too many times. There are many different cultures in Europe. And, of course, there is much more to the world than the US and Europe.
Then there is the famous Judas' kiss, which could only happen because in that particular culture a kiss was a symbol of friendship.
A kiss is not necessarily a sexual thing.
P.S. I have personally seen a guy kissing a guy at the airport in Rome. They were probably a father and his son, and they were happy one of them had safely returned home. Nothing strange about it.

its acting, they play different people they wouldnt play in real life and its about money too, moving his career on. Showing he can play of the more adult/teen roles in teen/adult base films.

Well, I have no idea which movie we are talking about. All I saw was the OP.
At any rate, a straight actor can play a gay character just as much as a gay actor can play a straight lover. For example, everyone was shocked when Richard Chamberlain came out and when he was asked how he could play such passionate lovers, he said, "It's called acting."

How? By simply not being an emotionally disturbed, sexually insecure, homophobic bigot. That's all it takes.
