RIP (August 15, 1936 – January 8, 2021)
Can't believe there's not thread here on Mike's forum.
The good man passed away in January already, but it's been made public a few weeks later. He's had quite the colorful career: Linebacker with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1958–1961) and the Los Angeles Rams (1962–1964). Then jumped to the big screen. I remember watching him as Tarzan when I was a kid. Surely one of the best Tarzan actors to date.
Then "The Longest Yard" with a supporting role. His first movie with Burt. And then of course in 1977 - the movie I will remember him most for: "Smokey And The Bandit", where he played Junior, Buford T. Justices son and the butt of many jokes during the movie. He was great in it.
Retired in 1988 from acting after diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Still made it to 2021. RIP Mike Henry, you'll be missed.
