I love, love, Nate and Brenda. They were both so messed up and emotional and just meant to be with each other.

I think i can remember Alan Ball talking about this chemistry between them He said that they werent sure if they should pick Rachel for the role but when he saw how great the both actors worked together it was clear to him that rachel has to become brenda!

I'm just travlin', travlin', travlin', I'm just travlin' thru.

I agree, they have a great chemistry together and Rachel confesses in the extras of the first season DVD set that she likes Peter Krause as a man, basically. So i think i also helped to make the thigs more believable.

I loved the way things ended, i don't believe in the 'meant to be' either, and that's why i think that even though Brenda and Nate shared a great love and they had a great history, that was just exactly what should've happened. Good, and also bad things just happen no matter how compatible the two mates are, what once seemed easy, one day can be unbearable, no matter what... really. Amazing storyline ending.

I agree, I loved them all through the first two Seasons and waited patiently through Season 3 and 4 for them to reconcile. Lisa and the Justin Theroux guy were just annoying distractions.
Unfortunately, it all went to hell in the last Season but Alan Ball did confirm Nate would've went back to Brenda after Maggie, which gives me some closure.
