a group I never got
same as Jethro Tull.
shareI never really knew The Grateful Dead but I do like a few of their songs. I really should explore their catalog further. I knew a girl in college that was a "deadhead". She was one of the nicest people I've ever met.
A friend of mine was really into Jethro Tull. He would listen to "A Passion Play" over and over on his 8 track player. It wasn't my cup of tea at the time. Years later I picked up Passion Play on CD and gave it another chance. I now appreciate the incredible musicianship of JT.
Me neither, but I tried. Hung out with some deadheads in London. Sat around parks making macreme bracelets with them and listening to tales of their pilgrimages to Dead concerts. It felt oddly anachronistic, misplaced hippy culture.
shareNever cared much for them myself. But I did enjoy going to their concerts for dope and women.
shareMy brother was immersed in stoner culture, but I never got it. I didn't miss a thing.
