Black people couldn't care less about minorities other than blacks. I DON'T hear them complain about the lack of asian or hispanic performers at the oscars.

No Mexican actor has won the Oscar, like never. You don't hear people complaining about that, do you? In the last 6 years, at least three black performers have won Oscars. Black people ARE recognized

Technically Mexicans AND Arabs are white. If you want to go old school 'racial classifications', there are only three human 'races', Caucasoids, Mongoloids, and Negroids. But white people nowadays don't really consider or want to consider 'brown' people white.

what about Spanish people that live in Spain and speak Spanish? I worked with a guy that looked 'white' but he spoke perfect Spanish and considered himself Spanish(which doesn't really count). IMO, human racial classifications should go away. If we are all so different, then there's no way we should be able to make non-sterile offsprings. but we can. so there is only one race, Homo Sapiens. but even in 2016, some people don't want to accept it.

Spaniards are white, just like Portuguese, Italians etc. Mexicans are mostly mestizos, with white and indigenous ancestry.

As for Hollywood, I think if there is one group that has a right to complain it would be Asian Americans, their chances on getting decent roles in Hollywood are almost zero.

By that logic, blacks are part european, too, and FAR more represented in Hollywood than Asians and Mexicans

Yes that makes the discussion a bit stupid, as many people are of mixed race. There are mixed couples who have one child with light skin and one child with dark skin.
