Rape character

I get it that this guy is a talented actor. However, I find it a bit peculiar that he has participated in 2 (TWO) rape scenes. That is a bit bothersome. He rapes Samantha Taggert on an episode of ER after he kidnaps her in a season finale, and now he is the rapist in a very long and brutal scene involving one of the main teenage characters in, "The Last House on the Left".

What I find peculiar is that you took enough interest in this actor's scenes involving rape to get on IMDB and post a forum topic on his page. Not only do you post about the actor being involved in two rape scenes, but you describe them in some disturbing detail. Bottom line - Why?

someone who is so interested in rape scenes is obviously in my opinion OVER interested in the subject

Is this seriously what both of you took from my post?! I happen to be an ER enthusiast, and I immediately recognized the actor when I watched the movie. Thus, I came to the conclusion that in the ONLY two instances that I have encountered this actor, he was involved in a rape scene.

Oh relax I was mostly just busting your chops. :)

Ha! Nice! Still had to defend myself tho :)

LOL. Stopped watching ER before that, but I do know what you mean by 'Last House On The Left'.
'Course, I came from watching him as the lovable child-like mind that John Henry was on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, so...
It's amazing how he can portray a despicable guy, yet so (dare I say it?) CUTE being as the learning AI software+hardware combo.

Perhaps then you should get out more.

In "Deadwood" he was a serial killer who loved to beat the sh!t out of women. In "Winter's Bone" he is the Sheriff of a small town in Missouri. In "The Assassination of Jesse James..." he is a mild-mannered gang member. In "Damages" he is a slick lawyer.

And so on and so forth. He's been acting since 1995. His body of work consists of more than the two rape scenes you've seen.

One might begin to wonder what's going on in YOUR mind, if those two scenes stand out so much.

I loved him as Cromartie, the assassin terminator on Sarah Connor Chronicles, but when he showed up later as John Henry, I was blown away. He went from scary cold, to child-like as you mentioned, and I kept saying to myself this actor is for real.

Since then I've seen him quite a bit, and whether he is a good guy or bad he is always great in his roles
