Only reason I dont completely avoid New Girl is because it has Zooey friggin Deschanel. I wouldnt know any other reason to endure this weird show.

The first season was decent but it's been going downhill ever since. Like you, I continue to watch only to see Zooey.

The only funny character in that show is Winston. Everything else is pure garbage. The story line is boring. It was right where it was 4 5 years ago. The main character is played terribly.. Zooey Deschanel is a terrible actress. I don't understand how they gave her 30 minutes of air time on television. She is a terrible actress that's a fact but she's not even pretty to look at. Mostly she compensates her acting disability buy making weird faces and sudden loud noises. And that's not how it should be. That show should be cancelled it never should've aired to begin with.
Other actors are pretty good I think. Director Max Greenfield something guy, I saw him American Horror Story couple days ago and trust me he was really good. After seeing him and that crappy show I think he did pretty good in American horror story..
And that is how you find out if an actor is good or not. You see them in different genres of programs.

Alright ..... Range then. He's got pretty good quality range .

I think it's actually pretty funny. I like it better than Awkward. But I'm also not a teenager. If it wasn't for the males on the show though, it wouldn't be any good. Zooeys character at some points can be very annoying and unlikable. But it is a cute mindless show to watch.

I will add that I think she's attractive.
