Obviously having an entirely different color of hair will make you look different, but geez, it's almost like looking at 2 different people entirely (at least from my perspective anyway).

Elf Zooey was a coloring mistake. So bland and forgettable. Now brunette Zooey with bangs is iconic.

Yeah she seemed to be a lot more engaging there. I think she was probably genuinely enjoying stardom at that point. Not that she doesn't now I guess, but after a while (and not to mention the countless interviews) one could see how it becomes and feels like a job at some point and loses its fun. Thanks for sharing that clip.

Fame is totally strange and definitely has it's obvious downsides... Luckily the most obvious downside for Zooey is just that she doesn't get too personal with the press anymore, and that's really probably good for her because she probably does hella weird stuff in the privacy of her own home. like maybe she has a room in her house where she's fashioned macaroni furniture and glued it upside down to the ceiling. or maybe she is at a near professional level in international masked chess competitions. idk
