What would you say is his trademark?

I understand that for a lot of the more popular actors IMDB lists what their trademark is. Hey may be no number 1, but since he's in the upper 500 and is getting a more prolific showcase I'd say he deserves one. What would you say it is? Personally I think it's that he's good at acting worrisome or high-strung.

Great question. I think he very talented but I'm not sure what his trade make might be. I've met him at a Q&A once and he was the nicest guy, as far as acting I might go with a take On neurotic, and he also shows great emotion.

Often plays people who end up suffering notable misfortune. After all, he DOES get beaten to death by Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood, dissected in Looper, abducted by aliens in Cowboys & Aliens and denied his dream job due to an impeding condition in Little Miss Sunshine.
