What always blows my mind about Elisha Cuthbert in The Girl Next Door

Actually, a lot blows my mind about Elisha in The Girl Next Door. ;-)

It is a Universal truth that she is insanely hot in this movie. Death, takes, and Elisha being hot in this film. Has anyone else noticed how she really looks like completely different actresses in various parts of the movie? I look at the early scene in the diner, then the scene in the hotel, and the scene where he asks her to the Prom, and then the limo scene. Totally different looks and yet she is unreal hot in each of them in different ways. Maybe that's one of the things that so many of us find so attractive about her in this film. She seamlessly goes from scene to scene and look to look with the ability to take our breath away in each.

I've always been somewhat fascinated by how this movie and her character touched so many men in a way that is unique I think it's the fact that she can be so cute in one scene and then so sexy the next that makes it so special.

Has there ever been an actress that's been able to combine cuteness and sexiness into one role so well?

The film is stupid. You sound like you would amazed at seeing paint dry.

Good call, dainty.

She was insanely pretty in this flick, but it really sucked!

She's supposed to be an "actress" in the movie. I think her character is trying to act the part in the various situations until she finds herself and realizes that's alright.

Very few actresses have been able to pull this off, it's true. Which makes EC's career after TGND all the more bizarre and borderline tragic

Very much so.
