Why is she not filming movies anymore? :(

I was really really hoping to her in more movies after HOUSE OF WAX! I love her as the lead. =) She was much better than Michael Chad Murray (Sorry i didnt bother to check did i get his name right). I seriously thought I be seeing more of her. But seems like I'm wrong.

Why isnt she filming more movies? Seems like she only act in tv series nowadays.

Sorry I didnt watch Girl Next Door because I just thought it's a movie more for guys? Captivity seemed good when it came out that time, but hey seriously I think my country doesnt show Captivity! My Sassy Girl, sorry I am someone who likes to stick to Asian original. I might watch if it's on cable tv. ^^

I just thought she will get bigger/dramatic roles with future movies, dont know is it happening soon? Btw, i live in Singapore. =) My local theatres show ALOT of the movies in IMDB, that's why I like to check them here. =)

First off, I'm not trying to attack you so please don't take it that way. Nor am I remotely trying to change your opinion of the film as no film is going to engender anything close to a consesus. Nor am I one to vote based on what the IMDB majority does. However, if someone is going to make such an absolute and condemning statement as you did, I do believe that an "IMO" or "I thought" somewhere along the way is warranted. I'm not suggesting that you state that "all the time" but when you judge the worthiness of a movie with the conclusiveness that you did and the manner in which you did, I thought it was warranted.

But that's not even what I thought was pointless about your post. It's the reason you give, which lacks any articulation or sense quite frankly. You state what it's about as if that's a fact as well and not what you thought it was. I highly doubt that the filmmakers had such a simple theme in mind when creating the film. Nor do I believe the audience drew as simple a conclusion as you did. In fact, your simple view of the film makes me wonder if you understand what it was about at all. That you didn't like it, well that I have no problem with. Only the arrogance of people that think their opinion is somehow more valid or correct than others.
