So I have this running theory that Desmond is really more important to the overall plot of 'Lost' than we may think. I mean, us HIC fan-girls know it to be true, but to the casual 'Lost' viewer the overall story seems to focus on Jack/Kate/Locke/Ben. I really think Des is going to play a big roll in getting back to island and solving its many mysteries. I mean, he already time-travels! I have a feeling that the writers are setting him up for something big. He's way too good (/sexy) of a character to kill off or forget.
And as far as "shirtless" goes...
