Everybody Hates Daniel (and I seriously want to know why)

I have followed the Bond movies (and all the external drama/speculation/kerfluffle they entail) for *many* years, and I have never seen the level of vitriol directed at ANY Bond actor that I have heard directed at Craig. Am I missing something? The looks-shaming is bad enough but it's the other criticism I have a hard time figuring out.

To be fair Connery hated being Bond by the time he did You Only Live Twice and only came back in Diamonds Are Forever for a huge paycheck and spent a good part of his career not wanting to have anything to do with James Bond.
