This guy is finished
in five years, he'll be Bradley Who?
sharehe might be a director then :)
shareAnd you know what? you're absolutely RIGHT !
shareNahhhh
A couple flops won't hurt him after American Sniper.
Since you made this prediction, he’s been in two Oscar-nominated movies, nominated for a best actor Oscar, won two Grammys, and was in the second-highest grossing movie of all time.
Good job.
What has he done in the past year?
shareWhat has anyone done in the past year? There's a pandemic going on.

in five years, he'll be Bradley Who?
5-6=1 year
Yes, he stated "This guy is finished."
As in 'is', not 'will be'.
He's insinuating that Cooper will not do anything in next five years, so that after that time, no one will know who he is.
Exactly, the post was made 6 years ago and he said Bradley would be finished in 5 years. He hasn't done anything in the past year. Its kinda spooky if you think about it.
share"he said Bradley would be finished in 5 years"
No, he didn't.
Six years ago, he said, and I quote, "This guy is finished."
IS finished. Six years ago.
The only thing he said about five years from then is that no one will know who he is.
It's simple English.
But no one will know who he is and will be finished. He was right though, he made a prediction he would be finished and no one would know who he is in 5 years, 5 years was in 2020. His prediction came true.
I am pretty sure he didn't know about the pandemic as well.
"he made a prediction he would be finished and no one would know who he is in 5 years"
Seriously, do you have a reading disability?
I've explained it to you several times. How are you not comprehending it?
"This guy is finished."
That is what he said six years ago. Meaning, Cooper was finished six years ago. He's not making a prediction that Cooper will be finished in five years.
What he was predicting was, because Cooper WAS finished, five years from then no one would know who he was.
Please explain to me why you think he predicted Cooper would be finished in five years, when what he said six years ago was, "This guy IS finished," not, "This guy WILL BE finished."
You do understand verb tenses, right?
"This guy is finished in five years, he'll be Bradley Who?"
Its one sentence, not 2 separate statements.
He made a correct prediction even though no one knew there would be a pandemic.
His last movie to act in was The Mule. So basically he was right.
No he wasn’t fucking right because when things will be better Cooper will be in movies again. The only reason why he wasn’t in movies was because there was a pandemic.
shareWell how did that guy know there would be pandemic 6 years ago?
shareWho said the guy knew there would be a pandemic? What the hell are you talking about?
shareHe said he would be finished in 5 years and the prediction was made 6 years ago. He was right though, Coopers career has been stagnant for the past year.
shareCooper’s career has been stagnant for the past year because of the goddamn pandemic but his career isn’t dead, he will be back when things are better.
The user thought Cooper’s career would be dead in 5 years but he was wrong since the only reason why Cooper hasn’t been in a movie recently is because of the pandemic and he will be in movies again when things are better and no the user didn’t know there would be a pandemic obfuckingviously.
How did he know there would be a pandemic, he was right wasn't he? Its pretty spooky if you think about it. Cooper hasn't done anything for the past year which means the prediction was right.
share"Its one sentence, not 2 separate statements."
No it isn't. You can't assume the title of the post and the content of the post are one sentence.
Plus, he's using the verb 'is', which is present tense. You might have a case if he wrote "This guy will be finished ... in five years, he'll be Bradley Who?"
But "This guy is finished in five years" makes about as much sense as you do.
Depends on how you look at it.
"This guy is finished"
No period after finished
"in five years, he'll be Bradley Who?"
lowercase in
For me its all one sentence. But that's just me.
Me: "You do understand verb tenses, right?"
You: "He said he would be finished in 5 years"
No, he didn't you dumb fuck.
