While she's not the most beautiful woman I've seen...

There's something about her which nonetheless puts her WAY up there in the pantheon of alluring femmes!

Partially, it's the UNIQUENESS of her appearance. This makes her more intriguing to behold than some other women who may be technically "more beautiful". It's that exotic flair which makes me want to keep looking at her.

Additionally, there's simply something about HER. The way she speaks, moves... she has a very sensual demeanor.

I find it interesting how these qualities add to her already attractive presence.

I've only seen her on Bones, and while she's not unattractive physically, there's something about the character she plays that is so unpleasant to me that I can't really see her as attractive. If I don't like someone's personality, in real life or in fiction, then I find them unattractive regardless of their actual physical appearance. I have the same problem with Emily Deschanel's character.

In fact, I have the same issue (to a lesser degree) with the personalities of all of the female characters on the show and with many of the male characters as well. There's a sort of conceit and self-righteousness about them. Temperance constantly flaunts her intelligence and talks down to people, Daisy tries to do the same thing, Angela thinks she's really "hot" (and has said so on occasion) and very intolerant of people who disagree with her, Cam loves to remind people that she's their boss, etc. Some of the men have the same issues in various degrees and combinations. It's weird, but I find myself really liking the show because of the writing while disliking nearly all the characters (just the opposite of the problem that I usually have with other shows where I like the characters but am annoyed by the writing.)

None of this is meant as criticism of the actors. They play their parts well, but it seems to me that the characters are intended to be annoying, as the dialogue frequently fits right in with that portrayal.
