Been meaning to post this for sometime...remember when there was the episode in Bones where everyone was locked down at work for some sort of potiental virus outbreak around Christmas. Remember when her character's father looked like one of the members of ZZ Top? what was up with that? they never touched on it and i had come here to see if that was her real father in real life...just wondered why they showed that in the episode...any suggestions?

shareI thought the exact same thing... Seems a bit strange to get Billy Gibbons in to play her father, seemingly completely at random when they could have got aybody really.

shareChrist, man, calm down. We all know that it's fictional but sometimes real life family members get guest roles in television shows. Take Charmed for example. Holly Marie Combs' real life baby played her son for some of the scenes.
Does that mean everyone who watched it thought the show was real? No.
So do us all a favor and shut up.
And though it was never actually said, it was at least implied he was playing himself... which made it kinda unusual.
