There's a reason the Electoral College was invented back at the founding of our nation. It gave ALL states a chance at choosing our president, instead of leaving it to high-population states like New York and California. Otherwise, those two states would always choose who got to live in the White House every election, and that doesn't sound very fair, does it?

Not that I was a big Hillary fan, but I think it's time to get rid of the Electoral College. If a candidate wins the popular vote but loses to the Electoral College. . . . . .it just doesn't make sense.

No. I totally disagree. Without the EC we would have mob rule. The country would be controlled by people in large cities and large states, and the rest of the country be damned. That's why the founding fathers were wise enough
to set it up this way.

Well, I disagree with your disagreement. The majority of Americans live in large cities and large states because those places serve their needs more than rural areas. I think the EC should be abolished. Rural states are already over-representated in Congress (2 senators for 580k people in Wyoming vs 2 senators for 40 MILLION people in California). However I think a rural democrat might be the best choice for 2020; perhaps Jon Tester or Amy Klobuchar.

Lots of reasons. Number ONE is she was a terrible candidate. All the buckets of sugar coated sweetness the "news" networks dumped on her didn't help. Americans have known her for decades. Imagine if the DNC wasn't up the ass of the news organizations in USA how badly she would have lost.
