Was he a good or a bad man, generally?

And as a politician, was he good or bad?

P.S. He is often said to have starved personally via his policies over a million Indians but again, how true is that?

reply

Jesus. Really?

reply

Awful. His inspirational speeches is the only good thing he's remembered for. A glorified TED speaker!

reply

Arguably THE prime example of the right man at the right time in history.

reply

Every person is capable of good and bad, he was just more good than bad.

reply

Was his bad on the same level of badness as that of other politicians at the time, or even in our modern era? Did he do anything potentially or officially criminally offensive and politically incorrect and anti-constitutional? Did people really die and suffer because of his policies on a grand scale? Have there been mass protests against him and did people legitimately accuse him of being a war or other type of major criminal?

reply

"Criminally offensive" is a valid point.
"Politically incorrect" is NOT a valid point.

reply

True, but I meant politically incorrect more in the sense that he made wrong political decisions rather than politically incorrect in a sense of offending sensibilities with insensitivities etc.

But was he, either?

reply

Not sure about Churchill, but I know damn well I don't trust Tory politicians these days, they're complete assholes.
