He's just the one who was the MOST universally celebrated, respected and loved to openly push back.
I really don't think that Dave will ever bend over to demands or popular pressure. This is the same guy who walked away from 50 million dollars to stand up for his own moral compass.
The irony is that he already did give in in the very show he's being criticized for.

Cancel culture has already won because it seems no comedian can simply do their set anymore, they're needs to be the disclaimer. By making a large chuck of the end of his show effectively a disclaimer Chappelle has already bowed down and made his apology.
Unfortunately the mouth frothers don't even recognise that. They just want to be angry...
